LED Products Warranty (Limited Warranty)

OPTILED is pleased to provide the following warranty for the periods shown below. This warranty covers OPTILED LED products, power supply and control installed as a system to comply with its respective published specifications. This warranty is subject to change without notice. For most updated version, please contact your local distributor or go to www.optiled.com to download.

LIMITED WARRANTY

OPTILED warrants to customers of OPTILED each LED products, Power Supply or control to be free from defects in materials and workmanship in its intended use (normal wear and tear excepted) and to operate for the period starting from the date of installation (or date of manufacture if installation date is not known or available or verifiable) for the stipulated time periods as shown below and subject to the "TERMS AND CONDITIONS" specified below.

If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, the exclusive remedy of customers of OPTILED is that OPTILED will, at its sole option,

	(a)	repair the product using new, remanufactured, or refurbished parts,
	(b)	replace the product with a product that is functionally equivalent to the original product, or
	(c)	reimburse the purchase price of the product.

For purposes of clarity, all three options above do not include any installation costs or expenses.

WARRANTY PERIOD

• 100~240V AC line voltage LED products	3 years
• 12V/24V DC low voltage LED products	2 years, or
	3 years (provided it is proved to operate with OPTILED recommended Power Supply)
• Power Supply and Control	3 years

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This warranty only applies when OPTILED LED products, Power Supply or Control are properly wired and installed together as a system and are operated within the electrical values recommended by OPTILED; used in lighting equipment designed and approved for the application by OPTILED and in environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) within the normal specified operating range of the system.

This warranty does not apply in:

(i)

any use in violation of any local applicable standard, code or instructions for use in installation including those contained in the latest National Electrical Code (NEC), the Standards for Safety of Underwriters Laboratory, Inc. (UL), Standards for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or, in Canada, the Canadian Standards Association (CSA); Europe (CE), Australia (C-tick); China (GB).

(ii)

any event of conditions demonstrating abnormal use or stress, including under/over voltage/current conditions, excessive switching cycles or operating hours or outside the following conditions

	* Warranty Period is based on typical 8,760hr/yr. Operation on a continuous burning cycle of 24hours.
	* Warranty Period valid for a maximum operating and environmental temperature as specified in the product specifications.

(iii)

any alteration, modifications, additions, or repairs made during the applicable warranty period by anyone other than OPTILED its employee, agents, or subcontractors;

(iv)

physical abuse of the goods or any component or acts of vandalism by any persons other than OPTILED, its employee, agents, or subcontractors;

(v)

any damages due to improper installation, improper testing, improper operation, abuse, misuse, accident, neglect, alteration, corrosion, and any acts of god.

(vi)

any use of OPTILED LED products, power supplies and / or control together with any other component, product or installation, whether of OPTILED or of third party.

(vii)

any use not authorized by OPTILED.

WARRANTY SERVICE CLAIMS

OPTILED shall issue an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization) for all requests for warranty review. To expedite service or if you are unsure whether a situation exists that is covered by this warranty, please contact your local OPTILED agents.

RETURN OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

After contacting OPTILED and receiving RMA#, the customer of OPTILED shall promptly return the product after receiving instructions regarding if, when and where to ship product. Product must be returned within 10days of receiving RMA#. Shipping box must be clearly marked with RMA#. Failure to follow this procedure shall void this warranty.

REMEDY, LIMIT OF LIABILITY

The foregoing shall constitute the exclusive remedy of the purchase and the sole liability of OPTILED for its LED products, Power Supply and/or Control. NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILTIY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS MADE OR IS TO BE IMPLIED. In no event shall OPTILED be liable for any other costs or damages (whether direct or indirect) including lost profits or revenues, incidental, special or consequential damages, which includes but not limited to inconvenience, loss of time, loss of business opportunity, down time, loss of goodwill, interference with business relationships, other commercial loss.

OPTILED reserves the right to examine all failed OPTILED LED products, Power Supply or Control to determine the cause of failure and patterns of usage and reserves the right to be the sole judge as to whether any OPTILED LED products, Power Supply or Control are defective and covered under this warranty. Any decision made by OPTILED is final and conclusive.

NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES

THE WARRANTIES GIVEN IN THESE TERMS ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES GIVEN BY OPTILED WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS AND ARE GIVEN IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO , WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF NON INFRINGEMENT AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PURCHASER'S EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES, AND OPTILED'S SOLE LIABILITY. FOR ANY NONCONFORMITY OF DEFECT IN ANY PRODUCT SHALL BE THOSE EXPRESSED UNDER "LIMITED WARRANTY" HEREIN.
